Driving Tests in Qld (Resumed)

From Monday 25 May 2020, the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) brought back heavy vehicle driving tests, and soon we are expecting that Car driving tests will be started very soon. In the meantime, we are open to provide car driving lessons and you can start preparing for the driving test. So, As soon as car Driving Test resume you can pass it in the first go.

As for driving test for heavy vehicles are concerned, initially, Qld transport is prioritising bookings for cancelled tests and other urgent needs. Heavy vehicle tests recommenced ahead of light vehicle tests to support the transport and agriculture industries and to keep Queensland moving. 

TMR Qld has also now made available driving tests to all heavy vehicle drivers, including those who did not have a test cancelled due to COVID-19 suspension of tests.

As health and safety for customers, instructors and examiners remains our priority, several COVID-19 safety and hygiene measures have been introduced. 

Please continue to ensure applicants read the health and safety requirements for driving tests on the Queensland Government website before their test: www.qld.gov.au/transport/covid-19-transport/health-and-safety-requirements-for-driving-tests

If these requirements have not been met, the Driving Examiner may refuse to proceed with the test

If you book a test on behalf of a customer, you are responsible for ensuring the test applicant is aware of all requirements before the test. Thank you for complying with these important measures.
